Our Story
In June 2020, the Friends of the Bohemian Cemetery Omaha established a fund under the Midlands Community Foundation (MCF). As the Friends of the Bohemian Cemetery Omaha, we are committed to preserving the beauty and integrity of the grounds where many of our loved ones abide.

Our Vision
Over the years, the Bohemian Cemetery here in Omaha has gone through the natural wear and tear of the seasons. As Friends of the cemetery, we have taken it upon ourselves to determine board members, as well as ask for donations, to keep this land beautiful. With your help, the Bohemian Cemetery will continue to blossom for many generations to come. It all starts with a donation.

About Midlands Community Foundation
The focus of Midlands Community Foundation is to assist with community development by improving and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Sarpy and Cass counties. The Midlands Community Foundation Board of Directors is made up of individuals from the Sarpy and Cass county areas who bring a high degree of involvement to the Foundation and its mission.
The Foundation accomplishes its mission by awarding grants to non-profit organizations within its service area without regard to economic status or race. The Foundation has a strong commitment toward programs benefiting health, art, culture, community, economic development, education and human services. It is vital that Midlands Community Foundation supports these organizations so they may develop and nurture the community as a whole.
All gifts, large and small, enable Midlands Community Foundation to advance its tradition of financial support to benefit the needs of the community it serves.
